Referred to in the ending theme as "the toughest fighter," she is the group's tough member and is easily enraged. She wears a green sleeveless dress which has a black stripe running through the middle, white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. However, in "Cover Up," she shows a softer side.īuttercup is a 5-year-old girl, the middle sister, with black hair and green eyes. Her main ingredient is spice which reflects her being very tough. She still believes she can fight monsters without taking a bath until a monster forcedly surrendered and leave her because she stinks causing Buttercup to reluctantly taking a bath because she wants to fight monsters. Her arrogantly beliefs has cause her family, friends and the entire citizens of forcing her to take a hike due to her being dirty. In "Down n Dirty", Buttercup (unlike Blossom and Bubbles) hates taken a bath believing it is for sissies. This was until she was punished by Blossom and Bubbles for greedy obsession. In "Moral Decay", she became so greedy for dollar coins when she beaten up the criminals and steal their teeth for coins.
She is also shown to be the type of person who nearly-always disregard advices and warnings from the surroundings even though they did told her at first that there will be consequences or risk-taking problems that may occur. She was just named that for it starting with a "B" just like her sisters, Blossom and Bubbles, which is, in fact, the cause of her sour personality.īuttercup's overall nature is being a vain, and stubborn girl, who's known to be a very violent, arrogant, and sometimes have shown to be narcissistic as well. He is still shown to be the most violent of his brothers, but now seems to directly take orders from the bossier Brick and agrees with him no matter what.Buttercup's name isn't based on any personality. After Butch was resurrected, he had taken on a new hairstyle, with his spikes pointing upward, versus the original single cowlick. He has a tendency to twitch when he gets particularly excited in a fight. While Buttercup is sweeter, Butch has no sense of regret at all. Butch seems to be a version of Buttercup with all her battle lust and none of her sympathy. Often, he'll be itching just to get out and do anything destructive. While all boys love to cause havoc, Butch seems to enjoy it the most. He usually gets particularly excited when Brick calls out a game to play during fights. His crudeness has a tendency to make him twitch. While all three boys love to wreak havoc, Butch enjoys it the most. Also he exceeds Buttercup in both bloodlust and rage.
However his pranks are made more prominent but in a more criminal way such as graffiti. After his reincarnation he becomes the polar opposite of his former self he becomes borderline psychotic, jolly, violent, and somewhat wacky. He did however make a joke about burritos they apparently had, he and his brother pranked Mojo by pouring what is assumed to be Gatorade on him. He did not do anything except what his brothers were doing such as screaming after crashing into the pavement. In Butch’s first appearance his was calmer, cooler, and more conformed, and often silent as he didn’t open his mouth while Brick and Boomer were agreeing with Mojo. While Buttercup's color is light green, Butch is more like a dark green. After being destroyed by the Powerpuff Girls' kiss of death, he was revived by HIM and was given a cootie shot to prevent the same mistake to be repeated. He is Buttercup's male equivalent and evil counterpart and was originally created by Mojo Jojo.
